The annual “Fear the Spear 5K” event took place on April 6. The event is hosted every year on the first Saturday in April by the Mark Keppel Alliance, a nonprofit organization that supports teachers and students through grants and scholarships. This run is open to students, district employees, and the public. The school district sometimes fails to provide support for our school, which led to teachers and parents forming this organization in order to aid the school’s academic and sports programs.
