For the past year, Apple has been creating a new iPhone called the iPhone 16. The iPhone 16 was announced to the world at an event called “It’s Glowtime” on Monday, September 9 and was released on Friday, September 20. The iPhone 16 came in four different models which are the regular iPhone 16, the iPhone 16 Plus, the iPhone 16 Pro, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The regular iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Plus came out with five different colors which are black, white, pink, teal, and ultramarine while the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max came out in four different colors which are black titanium, natural titanium, white titanium, and desert titanium.
The iPhone 16 also includes new features such as the camera, a new “Action” button and also a chip added into the phone called the A18 chip. The improved camera has new and different features that makes it easier for people to capture better memories. The new “Action” button allows iPhone users to access different features like the camera app and the flashlight and do other things like translate messages into another language. The new A18 chip that was added offers improved performances and also makes the battery last longer. However, with the new iPhone out and with these new features, many people are having mixed opinions about whether or not it is worth it to buy.
People who have bought the iPhone 16 or the iPhone 16 Pro Max have their good and bad opinions on this new model. People seem to be enjoying the new camera. Apple’s new camera has a bunch of new features such as a 48MP fusion, 100% focus pixels, camera control, as well as a digital zoom with up to 10x. These new camera features allow users to take high quality photos and videos. A lot of people like the picture quality they are getting from the new and improved camera quality. The camera is able to capture a lot of the things people want in their photos or videos. Overall, the new iPhone 16 camera seems to be impressing a lot of people and making users happy with the quality the new camera is giving.
However, people who have bought the iPhone 16 are having mixed feelings about the new “Action” button that has been added. With the new button, users are able to record voice memos, identify songs, or even be able to translate phrases. The Action button typically allows users to enable shortcuts such as opening the Camera app or turning on the flashlight. With these new features, people are happy with how accessible and convenient the iPhone 16 is. While some people say the Action button is a helpful feature, others may disagree. Some people like how the button has easy accessibility to the camera or flashlight. Others are saying that the button is useless because they can’t find a good use for it. Older generations especially are saying that it is confusing and hard to access. This could make users more frustrated with this new feature.
Many people at Mark Keppel High School are also having opinions about the iPhone 16 or have feelings on what they think it would be like. Katelyn Ho, a Sophomore attending Mark Keppel said, “I’d like to say that the new iPhone is basically the same thing as some of the other models, but I’ve heard that there are more camera features. I’ve also heard that the camera quality is better.” Natalie Delgado, another Sophomore attending Mark Keppel stated, “Technology such as the iPhones are improving a lot each time we see a new one come out. For example, the iPhone 16 camera is probably more efficient than the cameras in past iPhones.” Both of these students are correct as we have seen many improvements that were made to the new iPhones every year no matter if they’re big or small ones.
Overall, with the new iPhone coming out, many people have their own opinions about it. While some people like the color, other people do not. One thing many people seem to be enjoying about the new phone is the high camera quality. This makes it way easier to capture photos and videos and the photos that people take also turn out better. To sum it all up, most people are happy with how the iPhone 16 turned out but some people don’t feel like it’s necessary to have a new iPhone come out.
