On Friday, Sept. 5th, the Mark Keppel football team faced their third game of the season. The Aztecs took on a challenging away game against Compton Early College. The Aztecs came up short, 21-49 in a game that tested their perseverance and determination. The second quarter brought some thrilling moments for the Aztecs, as junior Matthew Contreras lit up the scoreboard with two impressive touchdowns. Though the final outcome was not what they were hoping for, the Aztecs showed flashes of brilliance and left the field ready to learn, grow, and come back stronger.
