Late last month, Ms. Phillips, the theater director, had announced to the MKHS theater company that the new spring musical will be, Mean Girls. The play is based off of the 2004 hit movie, Mean Girls, and adapted to stage by Tina Fey. Auditions for casting have not been held yet, nor have dates for the show itself. Auditions for the cast will most likely be held at the end of semester 1, while the orchestra will start prepping by the beginning of the school year. The Spring Musical is always a collaboration between the Theater Department, Choir, and Orchestra.
