It’s the time of year again where young couples are anticipating one thing: Homecoming. The theme this year is Beauty and the Beast, continuing the Disney Princess Theme. Opinions differ between the grades, ranging from indifference to liking it.
Sarah Deng, senior, had stated that she thought of it as “fine, I guess. It’s not my favorite theme.”
This sentiment is shared by fellow senior, Russel Eng, who thought that it wasn’t a good theme, but it wasn’t a bad theme either. Micheal Kwok, sophomore, said it was better than the previous year. However, he thinks the theme next year shouldn’t be Disney Princesses.
Although all three agree that the theme fits, Deng would have preferred something close to “Old Hollywood,” whereas Eng would’ve enjoyed a “Victorian Era” theme.
